The 2010 Club Reunion and The Prodigal Son Returns
Boomerang/Gabba Reunion 2010
The following photos were taken at the "Big Bash" held for past members and friends of the Boomerang/ Gabba Squash. The function was held at the Carina Leagues Club on Friday evening the 29 October 2010 and some 65 past members and friends attended. The date coincided with the attendance of Joe Williams being in Brisbane for a short visit from his adopted city Perth, whilst a number of other past members indicated that they could not make it due to prior commitments. The evening was a great success in terms of past players, friends having the opportunity to not only wander down memory lane about past events, but to catch up with others more recent experiences. It would be great to hear your comments about the night and if we should pursue similar events, either as a Boomerang/Gabba function or combined with the Squash Association.
