DAVE PRICKETT
Bob Finch was going through some documents that Leigh Belsham gave him after Vic had passed away, and found an article in a 1971 edition of the National Squash magazine. Under the headline, Prickett wins Gold Star, Dave Prickett sealed his selection in the Queensland Team for the Australian Championships, when he beat State candidate Ken Fraser in straight games, Prickett and Fraser are both members of the Boomerang Squash Club. Prickett did not allow Fraser to settle down and Fraser was most helpful to Prickett's cause through making many unforced errors.
Bob also located a story saying that Dave represented Queensland in 67, 68, 70 and 71 in 1969 Dave toured New Zealand with the Queensland team, as Bob said the story and results are only up to when the magazine was printed in 1971, so Dave may have represented Qld after that year also.
